I had a hard time chosing just a few pictures. I love the first one. He is missing his front teeth. The second is a magnified look at his face from the picture where he is standing on a rock with a dog. The third one I just thought was just adorable young Buster and Jingles.

 Today was great sharing this with Busterness. It was the first time I could actually be all goose pimply and excited over Buster stuff with someone in person who understood and shared the excitement. I look forward to exploring more archives. Hopefully we will have more people to share it with.

 Maybe we will actually find a hand written letter from Buster himself. Or find out the story behind his flexing picture. Who knows.

With The Avengers out and all this hoopla about superheros I figured it was time to honor the first true superhero, Super Buster.

I mean seriously people, Buster ACTUALLY leaped a building in a single bound… ( ahem Three Ages in case you’re wondering).

That being said, you know how superheros have tag lines like “It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s Superman” or “Have no fear Underdog is here!”, well for this week’s caption challenge, see if you can come up with a tag line for Super Buster…

And since I’m feeling so so generous…the winner gets a prize! No, not just an edited picture of your caption on tumblr, but a print of either
